Who should take this program?
If you're applying or training for a new job, going to take a college course, been out of school for awhile, nervous about starting school again, this is a great start. We specialize in adult education and can help you get back into the swing of things, gain confidence and prepare for your next step.
We celebrate the diversity of our students. But there is one thing we all have in common, we all want to succeed AND we all are here to review/refresh, learn and hopefully, laugh a little. Many students are nervous to begin, most are beginning computer users and most have never been in a virtual classroom.
That's why our school is so unique. We take things gradually and strive to always give you a choice. If you decide to take a class, free or paid, you have the choice of just viewing the class until you feel comfortable. You can even enter the class with a nick-name if you choose.
You will NEVER be put on the spot. If an instructor asks a question, she/he will not call on anyone who hasn't raised a hand. (You can do that in a virtual classroom!) Many of our students have had negative experiences in education and we want that to change here. We even have a free class where we discuss how we learn and how past learning can effect us today. Always feel free to call us toll-free and set up an appointment with an instructor if you feel apprehensive about anything in school. We're here to help you feel comfortable & to have a positive learning experience above all.
As you will soon learn, all of our staff members do more than one thing. We don't want anyone getting out of touch with our students, so the Director of the school, can also teach AND be a receptionist. Welcome. We hope you enjoy your time with us, and we hope you achieve your dreams!

We are in stressful times. We understand many have concerns about keeping their jobs, caring for their families and health issues. To try to answer to these difficulties, Adult Home Study has lowered prices for this summer and will continue to try our best to offer services at the lowest prices possible. OVER VIEW of PROGRAMS
We have 3 main programs: Math & English Review Program online
The G.E.D. live Program (coming in the Fall, 2009)
The Virtual Classroom (free and pay-as-you-go classes)
The math & English online review program has approximately 300 pages of math & English review lessons all online. Many of the pages include sound and many math pages include short video.
There is a free independent study class given once a month.
You can take different programs, some that add live classes with the review program and one that does not include any classes.
The G.E.D. Live program is all live ONLINE classroom study. We will have classes covering different sections of the G.E.D. book, both lecture and interactive. You will need to get the current G.E.D. book by Steck-Vaughn (official GED book). Cost for the book is around $20.00. You can purchase them at any main book store in your area or online. G.E.D. study will begin in the fall.
The Virtual Classroom online classes - both free and pay-as-you-go classes. In the summer, we will have math & English review classes live and recorded. You will need speakers (sometimes included in your laptop or computer).
Microphone is optional. G.E.D. will not start until the fall. You have to register to take a class; free or paid.

Many of us get rid of this information, we don't use it,
so we don't need it and the brain just puts it away.
Some of us leave school early and haven't had the chance to
learn all the parts. We will never put you on the spot, and we will
