U AA C is an online school specifically geared towards adults returning to school and furthering their education. It is the step before entering an adult high school program or a job preparation program. Many students need to take an entrance exam for a college course and find this a helpful first step to review. It is also for adults who just want to review subjects they have forgotten or never had a chance to learn. How is anyone suppose to remember fractions if you don't use them everyday?
U AA C was developed for adult students who are not able to attend classes in the conventional way. Many have difficulties attending a regular school program due to child care, financial or transportation issues. Job requirements sometimes do not allow us the freedom to attend programs the hours they are available. U AA C opened to try and fulfill this need.
Some of the most intelligent people have had difficulties in school. There are many people who have had horrendous experiences associated with their own education. Because of this, many are uneasy and may not feel ready to attend a regular program. Education is a path that is easily blocked by the past. We want the journey through this program to be fun, entertaining and interesting. Be aware, furthering your education is also a path of self discovery and sometimes a struggle with memories but, it can be one of the most exciting and life changing experiences. If you accept the challenge it will accept you!
Adult education is different. As an adult you have a huge amount of knowledge to pull from; unlike that of a child. This is why our discussions and reading materials are different. Many of the concepts and ideas that we will discuss are of a higher level due to the kind and amount of experiences students have already had.
This campus gives students who can access a computer a choice. You can access this site anytime at your home, library or a Community Access Program.
We are based in San Antonio, Texas in the U.S. and the Canadian office is in the province of Manitoba. The founder of U AA C grew up in Chicago, Illinois.
We accept anyone that has the commitment to learn. We are a non-denominational multi-cultural school. We are not affiliated with any one or group politically, religiously or financially.
There is very little government funding for Adult Upgrading programs. U AA C operates solely on private funding from the founder, volunteer support and relies heavily on student registration fees. The need for alternative Adult Education is too important to wait until the government has money. At this time, we are on our own without government funding. The success of this school solely depends on the needs of the people.
U AA C realizes that the cost of Education is high and often unaffordable for those who can not take time off work or get a child care provider because of the added costs. This is the reason that U AA C is trying to keep costs down so that registration can stay affordable.

For those who wish to follow the curriculum with the instructor in our question and answer online class, you can get verification that you attended by filling out a questionnaire about what was discussed in that meeting with the date and times included.
The founder's dream … In the future, I would like to see U AA C on satellite. Many of us can not get a computer and there needs to be other available means to learn in your home. I would like to be able to offer used computers to sell at a low cost with a payment plan and no credit check! (Something I could have used going to school!)
